Preparing to Come:
We don't really care what you wear. Put on what makes you comfortable. Most people wear business casual, but you will see a great deal of variety in dress. And, you don't need to take anything with you--come just yourself, or bring along your family or a friend.
You can find a map and directions right here.
Arriving before the service:
Most people arrive at church between 9:50 and 10:00. There are two parking lots with plenty of spaces, one on each side of the church (but only the south lot has handicapped access). Both parking lots are near the main doors that enter into our lobby area. Here, you will be first greeted with a smile. Our bathrooms (including a unisex family bathroom) are located here. Feel free to grab a cup of coffee as you head toward the double doors leading into the worship center. Get a bulletin from t he usher, who can help you find a place to sit.
If you have children, you are welcome to take them in with you. But, for young children (3 and under) you can also use our free nursery by following the signs upstairs, which is staffed by approved adult volunteers with teenage helpers.
Typically on a Sunday morning, we have around 125 people of all ages come. Since we aren't a real large church, many people will probably notice you are new--but that's fine, we love having visitors!
Our Worship Services:
Our Sunday morning worship typically is an hour in length and includes singing a variety of hymns and praise songs, lead by our praise team. The words are on a screen for everyone to follow along, and during some songs everyone is asked to stand. Near the beginning of the service, we take a couple of minutes to greet one another.
Most of our services include a children's sermon for ages 3-9. They are invited up front, if they want, for a brief object lesson. After the children's message children ages 3-6 can go to a children's worship class (room located near the lobby, downstairs) for material more relevant to their age.
Our services also include a Bible-based sermon between 20-25 minutes long and times of confession and prayer. Sometimes we have short videos or dramas. We do take two offerings each Sunday, one for our church, and another for a ministry we support. Visitors should feel no obligation to give money. Everyone is invited to fill out a communication card giving us some information about you that you can place in the offering bag. If so, we will send you a follow-up letter later in the week with a small gift from us for visiting.
We celebrate the Lord's Supper once a month during our service, and visitors do not need to participate.
When Church is Done:
Around 11am, we sing our final song and then you're dismissed. Most people stick around for a bit for the cookies, coffee and juice. This is a time also to get to know some more people at the church. Sunday School for ages 3 - adult begins around 11:15 and ends at noon during the school year. We are always happy to have visitors worship with us, and we'll hope to see you again!
Please feel free to email us if you have any questions.
