Sunday morning worship is just one of many activities during the week at Prairie Lane Church. There are many various groups for adults and youth, and plenty of volunteer activities to be involved with.

What are Small Groups?
Everyone is looking to belong to something, to be loved and to show love to others. This act of loving one another and sharing our lives together is what we call “Christian Community”.
If you seek to grow in your faith, build connections to others, and experience a deeper understanding of God’s plan for your life, you will find that Small Groups are perfect places for fostering fellowship, learning more about the Bible, and strengthening your faith.
Small Groups are a great way to get to meet people and make friends since they’re smaller than worship service and have lots of relaxed, open discussion.
Small Groups are open to everyone! Please join us if you are new. Come and learn the joy of “Christian Community” when you find your place in a Small Group, a group that fits your needs. Whether curious and cautious or wholly committed, you’ll connect with God and one another when a safe group accepts you for who you are.

MEN’S LIFE SMALL GROUP
“To allow men to discover the Bible’s wisdom regarding spiritual growth, marriage, children, work, friendship, money & goals.”

Prairie Lane offers many different children and youth ministries including:

• Worship Ministry:
This ministry oversees the organization and running of the worship services. We meet regularly to do the major planning for this ministry.
We have a praise team, which leads the congregation in praise music.
This ministry also provides opportunities to serve as a soloist, pianist, sound technician and power point technician.
• Building & Grounds Ministry
Taking care of the building inside and out is the focus of this ministry.
They do repairs and routine maintenance on the church building.
B & G provides ample opportunity for those skilled in building maintenance work or for those who would like to learn.
This ministry is in charge of maintaining the grounds of the church property. They plant flowers, water and mow the lawn.
People who love to work outside will find a place for themselves in this ministry.
• Mustard Seed Preschool--Our 33rd Year!
Prairie Lane Church offers The Mustard Seed Christian Preschool as a non-profit ministry to the community.
We offer 2-day and 3-day programs in the morning and afternoon. The ages of the children in our classes are from 3-years to 5-years.
In order for the Mustard Seed to offer a quality pre-school program, we are committed to limiting our enrollment to create a 8:1 student – teacher ratio.
